Introduction to Madiston
Madiston plc was founded by Tim Simon, a veteran of the IT services sector, to provide software and related IT services, particularly in the financial services sector and to assist in developing, and/or possibly acquiring and consolidating such companies.

We find ourselves in "interesting times" with the financial services sector in general, and the banking sector in particular, in chaos!

Where this positions us in the IT investment cycle, is anybody's guess.  Some would suggest that spending will slow or cease as budgets dry up. Others take the opposite view, arguing that now is the time to improve the ancient and outdated systems prevalent in this sector. We have been saying for years that existing banking systems, particularly the risk management and asset/liability systems, are woefully lacking! Unfortunately, recently, this has been so clearly but catastrophically demonstrated.

IT professionals are currently grappling with the limitations of their existing systems against the onerous task of complying with ever-increasing regulation, legislation, security issues and management demands for fast, low-cost, transaction processing and risk management systems. Madiston is sourcing and applying the technology to help.

We apply our wealth of experience built up over the years by advising organisations, designing, building, deploying, hosting and running systems. Bringing the technology together, we provide software and related services to address such imminent challenges – assisting our customers to build affordable systems to add value and enable strong, secure and profitable growth, even in a recession!

Preparing for launch in the Autumn!

www.lendloaninvest.co.uk www.lendloaninvest.co.uk is our website for social lending and borrowing sometimes called peer to peer lending & borrowing. We have been developing the software for over a year and we will soon be ready to compete with Zopa & Yes-Secure, the only other peer to peer, social lending and borrowing websites which are live in the UK today. Zopa have been operating in the UK for 5 years and have recently announced that they have 400,000 users registered on their web site. They have been lending in the region of £1m per week recently. Yes-Secure launched in July 2010, new to the game!

We have recently been granted our Consumer Credit Licence No. 636833/1 and we are now involved in putting the finishing touches to the software and the web site. Watch this space!
